About The Miracle Legends Baseball shows our goals and mission for our kids. 

Our About The Miracle Legends Baseball story begins with me, Jessica Harris. I have a son Hunter with Polymicrogyria, cerebral palsy, deaf, non verbal, severe oral dysphasia, epilepsy & developmental delay. I have 6 kids total, one boy 5 girls. Hunter loves baseball, he was going to Texarkana playing with all abilities, but with us living in new Boston and our kids being apart of all new Boston sports, it became impossible to get to Texarkana for games.

I had brought up the idea to Becki who is our local life skills teacher at the elementary school in new Boston to start an inclusive baseball team on our side of Bowie county. Her words were, “let’s do it, just tell me when.” Ever since we have been planning for this moment. We are very passionate about this team, we have also brought on Heather Roberts who has a son with autism. Maggie Krantz is also apart of our team. It takes a community and I am so appreciative of all the help we have received so far!

We have only just started this League and already we have over 35 kids signed up and 11 Sponsors! How awesome is that?!? It shows we have a need for this type of activity in our area. Our story began with me - help us keep it going with you - as a Spectator, a Sponsor, a Buddy, or a Coach. We know if we keep building this with your help, we will succeed.
